Coaching Application

Our rec league is always in need of friendly faces who want to work with and coach some great kids! No experience is needed as we will try to provide as many resources as possible to make your journey coaching as easy as possible. SSLYBA looks for those who will offer fair opportunities to all players on a team while promoting a love for the game, teamwork, leadership and confidence. Above all, we want to make sure coaches and players are having fun!

Please know that simply submitting the application and background check will not guarantee a coaching position. Some years we are in short supply, but some years we have more interested than we have teams for everyone. You will be contacted if you'd been selected to take on a team this year.

Please note that if selected to coach, you will be asked to put a $100 deposit down for the equipment you receive ($50 for totball/teeball). That money will be refunded at the end of the season when the equipment is returned.

SSLYBA will provide coaches will necessary tools for the season and don't expect you to spent your own money on equipment. Coaches receive practice/game balls, catchers gear, extra batting helmets. Teeball/Totball coaches will also receive a tee, bat and throw down bases.
